The ProcessBI Story

ProcessBI was founded by Manish Sharma after 15+ years delivering enterprise data, analytics, and AI projects for major Australian organisations across financial services, government, energy, and manufacturing.

The name says it: Process + BI. Sustainable data platforms require both — business intelligence without sound data processes fails, and data processes without actionable intelligence wastes everyone's time. Every engagement connects both sides.

In 2025, ProcessBI became an AI-native operation. Night Factory™ is the agentic OS layer that runs it: 300+ agents working through the night, watching every pipeline, researching the market, and compounding what they learn. It grades its own output, retunes what underperforms, and builds new capability as it goes. We ran it on our own business before we offered it to anyone else.

ProcessBI operates lean: one senior architect, trusted specialist partners, no overhead, no bench costs. Clients get direct access to the person doing the work — not a relationship manager passing notes to a junior team.

For delivery at scale, ProcessBI works in collaboration with DesignersMeet — a talent network where top freelancers from 70 countries, including Australia, are engaged across design, data and engineering projects. AI-Native Transformation — AI Research Engine Launch

Deployed 300+ autonomous AI agents for market research, proposal generation, and knowledge compounding. Re-structured ProcessBI as an AI-native consultancy.

2022 – 2024
Microsoft Fabric — Early Adopter & Migrations

Among Australia's earliest Fabric practitioners — completing three major enterprise migrations before Fabric reached GA. Established the medallion architecture and Direct Lake migration methodology used across all subsequent projects. Built ensemble machine learning systems for financial trading, including algorithmic Forex and index trading platforms.

2019 – 2022
Government & Enterprise Analytics Scale

Large-scale government analytics delivery: emergency services volunteer operations platform, major metropolitan rail network Synapse to Databricks migration, and superannuation RTI platform. Complex multi-domain data estates (HR, Finance, Operations) across Oracle and SAP sources.

2017 – 2019
Power BI Specialist & DWH Architecture

Deep Power BI specialisation — complex DAX, enterprise security, and semantic model architecture. Azure Synapse and SQL DWH delivery for manufacturing and financial services. Introduction of Analytics Creator for automated DWH generation.

2015 – 2017
BI, Quality Systems & Business Process Design

SSRS, SSIS, SSAS Tabular, SQL Server, on-premises BI stack. ETL pipeline design, dimensional modelling (Kimball), and executive dashboard delivery. Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), business process design, and statistical process control across manufacturing, retail, and professional services.
